We are dedicated to providing the highest quality service, from the reception desk to the stylist’s chair, while maintaining a relaxing and attentive environment for our clients. The comfort of our clients is our top priority.

Our Story:
Salon A was created by Ann Amott and Alvaro Garzon, two established and experienced stylists who shared the same vision of a salon environment that could be both upscale and relaxing.

Ann, who has over 30 years of experience, has worked in Bethesda for the past ten years. Prior to this, she worked in San Antonio, Los Angeles, at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, and in Honolulu.

Alvaro has over ten years of experience, primarily in the Bethesda area.

Both Ann and Alvaro have extensive training in color and cutting technique, and are equally committed to ongoing education for themselves and their staff.
